This item will authorize the Mayor to execute a contract with Partners Remodeling, Waterproofing, and Restoration for the Frontier Park Improvement Project 2018. Competitive sealed bids were received on December 4th, 2018 and Partners Remodeling, Waterproofing, and Restoration was found to be the low bidder. The Frontier Park Improvement Project 2018 contract will include the demolition of some existing park amenities, site preparation, construction of concrete flatwork, construction of pavilion, installation of new tennis fence and screen, installation of backstop, installation of a walking loop, installation of various site amenities, and ADA improvements.
PARD's Park Development Team held open houses with the adjacent neighborhood to develop a site plan. The final plan presented to the neighborhood received overwhelmingly positive feedback and residents expressed excitement about the redevelopment and much needed renovation of this park.
The park improvement will be funded through CDBG HUD Entitlement Grants.
Cost: $243,075.00
