Consider a resolution authorizing the City Manager to issue a Purchase Order to Freightliner of Austin for the purchase of one (1) Freightliner Sprinter Van for the Fire Department.

The van for the Fire Department is replacing a 2000 Ford F150 pickup. It has over 137,000 miles and is 19 years old. The reason we are changing from a pickup to van is because it will be going to the training division. It will be used to transport cadets and equipment to and from training in local and out of town. BuyBoard Cooperative Contract No. 521-16.
