Consider public testimony regarding a proposed amendment to the Transportation Capital Improvements Program (TCIP).

 

Body

This amendment to the Transportation Capital Improvement Program (TCIP) includes budget reductions and increases. The primary objective of this amendment is to adjust funding for several projects.  Some of the items included in the amendment are the following:

 

                                          

2) Increase the budgets for a number of projects.  Increases are proposed for the following projects:

a)                     Increase the budget for Arterial Sidewalks projects by $100,000 for future sidewalk improvements;

b)                     Increase the budget for Deepwood Drive by $200,000 for Right-of-way acquisitions;

c)                     Increase the budget for Gattis School Segment 6 by $200,000 for Right-of-way acquisitions;

d)                     Increase the budget for Kenney Fort Boulevard Segments 2 &3 by $1,000,000 for 2019 major arterial roads striping contract, amendment to Lone Star Paving contract & future street maintenance

e)                     Increase the budget for Oakmont Drive Extension by $743,900 for development agreement with Chandler Creek LP & future engineering costs

f)                     Increase the budget for RM620 by $250,000 for Utility relocation agreement and right-of-way relocation expenses

g)                     Increase the budget for Roundville Lane by $142,000 for Change orders #1 and #2 with Smith Contracting Company

h)                     Increase the budget for Traffic Signals by $495,000 for Austin Traffic Signal contract for new signals and future signals

                     

This amendment to the TCIP budget results in an additional programming of Type B $3,469,900.
