The City of Round Rock seeks to enter into an agreement with Safeware, Inc, who has the means and ability to supply the City's Police Department with safety equipment, maintenance and trainings.
The contract sets unit prices on the equipment and services provided by the vendor and doesn't set a specific department appropriation for these services. The set prices are for the life of the five-year term of the agreement. There is no option for renewal at the end of the agreement's term.
The maximum expenditure set per year for the term of the contract is $55,000 totaling up to $275,000. Funds will come from different General Fund accounts dependant on nature of purchase.
