This City Council request is to amend Chapter 42, Section 42-285, Code of Ordinances (2018 Edition) to make it unlawful to drive or operate a truck on Chandler Creek Blvd. from AW Grimes to Kenney Fort Blvd. This ordinance is proposed to alleviate a significant amount of truck traffic that is now utilizing Chandler Creek Blvd. as a cut thru roadway to traverse between AW Grimes and Kenney Fort Blvd Chandler Creek Blvd. is a neighborhood collector roadway that serves single family homes and a school. This truck traffic is not compatible with that type of use and should be prohibited.
