Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an Agreement with Carrier Corporation for the purchase and installation of Remote Terminal Unit replacement at the Allen R. Baca Center.

Currently the Baca has 1-90 ton, 1-8.5 ton and 1-3 ton RTU. The RTU (Roof Top Air Handling Unit) provides Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) to the space below. General Services currently has RTU's on a fifteen year replacement cycle, however these particular unit have starting failing over the last few years leaving the BACA without HVAC. These units may only be thirteen years old, but they have been worked seven days a week for thirteen years causing some premature hard failures such as motors. This agreement is for the purchase of 1- 90 Ton, 1-8.5 Ton and 1- 3 Ton RTU replacements in accordance with the Buy Board Cooperative Contract#552.17.
