Title

Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a Real Estate Contract with Alpha Westinghouse Ventures, L.L.C. to purchase a 0.505-acre tract of land required for the Roundville Lane Project (Parcel 1).

Body

During the design of Roundville Lane, a drainage issue was identified that required easements to be established or the acquisition of additional property. In the interests of time for the necessary project completion, we let construction of the project with an access agreement in place for drainage, while we continued to negotiate with adjacent property owners. This recommendation for your consideration is a negotiated settlement with Alpha Paving, that satisfies drainage requirements for the improved roadway.

Cost: $83,000.00
