Consider a resolution authorizing the reimbursement to Averitt Properties, Inc. for the cost of oversizing a wastewater line for the Averitt Express Project.

This agenda item is to request approval of a wastewater oversize reimbursement with Averitt Express. The property is located along Greenhill Drive south of Old Settlers Boulevard.During the pre-submittal meeting with the Averitt Express development, the City requested that Averitt Express upsize a portion of a six inch wastewater main to an eight inch wastewater main. This upsize of this main would allow future properties located on the west side of Greenhill Drive to connect to the existing wastewater system. Averitt Express upsized approximately 860 linear feet of wastewater main by the requested two inches. Based on the City’s current oversize reimbursement rate of $2.60 per inch of oversize per linear foot, the total reimbursement is $4,472. The wastewater main has been constructed and substantially accepted by the City of Round Rock. Utility staff recommends approval of the oversize reimbursement.
