Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a Strategic Partnership Agreement with Round Rock Municipal Utility District No. 1.

In accordance with Texas Local Government Code the city must enter into a Strategic Partnership Agreement (SPA) with Round Rock Municipal District No. 1, which was created, annexed into the city, and zoned SF-3 and C-1a on June 27, 2019. An SPA is required where a city annexes any portion of a Municipal Utility District. Two public hearings are required in advance of city council's consideration of adoption of the SPA. The first was conducted at the August 22, 2019, city council meeting and the second was earlier on this meeting's agenda. No further action is required after this resolution is adopted.
