Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an Agreement with Valor Fire Protection, Inc. for fire suppression system repair, maintenance, parts and installation.

Invitation for Bids were solicited in accordance with IFB No. 19-016 for Fire Suppression System for the City of Round Rock. The City received a total of (3) bid responses. The City intends to award two vendors this contract based on the Best Value for the City. The City may contract with either vendor at any time. The City will request a quote for each project and select the Contractor that best meets the needs of the City. This contract is a dual award contract, the $30,000 per year will be shared between the vendors.
An evaluation team evaluated the Invitation for Bid responses and scored Valor Fire and Fire King as the best companies to provide these services.
Cost: $30,000.00 per year ($150,000 five year term of agreement)
