On October 10^th, City Council passed a resolution submitting its nomination of Anthony Nguyen for the TCAD Board of Directors. According to Section 6.03 of the Texas Property Tax Code, each taxing unit must determine their vote by resolution and submit it to the Chief Appraiser. This resolution will fulfill that requirement.

The City gets one vote and the appointee is selected by a majority vote of the eastern jurisdictions. Staff recommends that the City’s vote be placed for Anthony Nguyen.
