Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an Agreement with WW Grainger Inc. for the purchase of facilities maintenance, repairs and operations, and industrial supplies.
This item will authorize the City Council to establish a contract with W.W. Grainger Inc., dba Grainger, for the purchase of facility maintenance repair & operations industrial supplies needed to support City operations in accordance with the TXMAS Contract No. 18-51V06 based off of NASPO Contract No. 8496.
Executing this contract will provide multiple City departments with the ability to utilize the WW Grainger, Inc. catalog for their routine, recurring, or special industrial supply needs. This will provide our employees with easily accessible equipment, item traceability through WW Grainger’s analytics tool, and a prompt and efficient ordering mechanism to receive and monitor the supplies they need.
The agreement will be issued in an amount not to exceed $750,000.00 for the life of the contract and the costs will be paid for from each of the department's operating budget.
Cost: $750,000.00
