Consider a resolution determining that G. Hyatt Construction, Inc. provides the best value for the City for the Downtown Round Rock Streetscape Improvement Project and authorizing the Mayor to execute a Standard Form of Agreement.

This project is being let under the Competitive Sealed Proposal (CSP) process. This project will include the construction of six (6) community parklets along Main Street which include associated landscape improvements, sidewalk, and parking. The project also includes landscaping and parking upgrades along Lampasas and Sheppard Streets and a complete mill and overlay of the entire project. These enhancements will improve the walkability and enjoyment of the downtown area for the public.
The project was let September 11, 2019. Three Bids were received. We were able to secure a bid the meets the CSP requirements from G. Hyatt for $2,390,391.58. Work is scheduled to commence after the first of the year and be completed in time for the 4th of July parade downtown.
