Title

Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an agreed Judgment in the condemnation suit styled City of Round Rock, Texas and The State of Texas v. Round Rock 732 Building, LLC, et. al., for the acquisition fee title to 0.258 acres, and a public utility easement interest in and to 0.067 acres, which are required for the construction of proposed improvements to RM620 (Parcels 22 and 22PUE).

 

Body

This proposed judgment is a negotiated settlement of the condemnation suit for RM620/Parcel 22. The r.o.w. parcel acquisition value of $1,650,000 was approved by TxDoT, which will reimburse the City for 90% of the payment. The public utility easement acquisition amount of $67,000 is equal to the City's approved appraisal value, and is 0% reimbursable by TxDoT. The City is also proposing to enter into a separate purchase contract for the 0.469 acre property remaining after these condemnation acquisitions.
