The City of Round Rock Wastewater Collections Division utilizes specialized cameras to inspect wastewater collection lines within the City. Because a majority of the City is located over the Edwards Aquifer, the City is required by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to inspect the collection system every five years. In the past, the City utilized Baker Equipment Company to maintenance these cameras. The Utilities and Environmental Services Department recently completed a procurement process and requests to enter into a contract with Patterson Equipment, LLC for the repair and maintenance of these specialized cameras. This five-year contract will not exceed $20,000 per year or $100,000 for the term of the contract.
