Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an Out-of-City Wastewater Service Agreement with Thomas Behrens and Tara Behrens.

This resolution is for an Out-of-City Wastewater Service Agreement to serve the property located at 25 Country Drive. This property is located outside the City of Round Rock’s current City limits and within Round Rock’s extraterritorial jurisdiction boundary. This property is currently undeveloped with the property owner planning to construct a single-family residence on the property.
This Out-of-City Wastewater Service Agreement allows the City to sell the owner wastewater service as required for domestic use on a monthly basis for one single-family residence. The property owner has agreed to voluntarily annex the property into the City limits in the future if requested by the City of Round Rock during the term of the Out-of-City service agreement. The property owner also agrees to donate a future 10-foot easement along their east property line if the City desires to extend a wastewater main along Country Drive.
The property owner will pay an impact fee of $2,099 which is equivalent to the wastewater impact fee for one single-family residential property. The owner will pay the monthly Out-of-City utility rate in accordance with Chapter 44, Article II of the City’s ordinances. The City will bill the owner monthly based on the volumetric amount as determined by the City’s winter water average for a single-family residential property.
