Sealed bids for the Logan Street project were received at 3400 Sunrise Road, Round Rock, TX 78665, opened and read aloud at 2:00 pm on January 22, 2020. A total of 6 bids were received. The bid results were as follows:
1. James Construction Group: $2,064,914.21
2. Chasco Constructors: $2,354,586.50
3. Capital Excavation Co.: $2,387,036.55
4. Pro Dirt Services: $2,409,036.00
5. Patin Construction: $2,412,231.00
6. Peabody General Contractors: $ 2,674,963.65
The bidder's submittals were checked for the inclusion of the Statement of Bidder's Safety Experience, and inclusion of a bid guarantee. Aguirre & Fields, LP has checked all bid tabs and James Construction Group was low bidder with a bid of $2,064,914.21. Aguirre & Fields recommends, and the Transportation Department concurs, the City move forward with the award of the project to James Construction Group.
