Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute three Termination of Multiple Use Agreements with the Texas Department of Transportation regarding the US 79 Sidewalk, FM 3406 Sidewalk and BI 35 L (North Mays) Sidewalk Projects.

This resolution is being presented at the request of TxDOT. TxDOT Legal council has determined that there is no longer a need for individual Multiple Use Agreements (MUA) for sidewalk projects on State highways and that sidewalks are covered under the umbrella Municipal Maintenance Agreement (MMA). This resolution is provides authorization for the Mayor to terminate the three existing MUA's for US 79, BI 35L (N. Mays) and FM 3406.
Transportation concurs with this request and recommends approval. There is no project cost associated with this resolution.
