Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an Agreement with Austin Structured Cabling, LLC for the purchase of data storage, communication, and networking equipment.
Body
This is a 4-year agreement with Austin Structured Cabling for the purchase of data storage, data communication and networking equipment and related goods and services. This is a companion or supplemental agreement to DIR contract No. DIR-TSO-4358. It authorizes the City to pay Austin Structured Cabling an amount not-to-exceed $500,000.00 over the 4-year term of the agreement.
This agreement will expire alongside the DIR contract that it supplements on February 27th, 2024 and covers the estimated costs of fiber and network infrastructure projects over the next 4 years.
Cost: Total not-to-exceed $500,000 through February 27th, 2024.
