Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute Quantity Adjustment/Change Order No. 1 with Texas Materials for the 2019 Street Maintenance Program (SMP) Arterials - University Blvd., Old Settlers Blvd., Sunrise Road, and Red Bud Lane Project.

This QA/CO consists of the addition of asphalt overlay, concrete curb/gutter and sidewalk, and pavement marking for the entire intersection at Old Settlers and Sunrise. This work is being added because this 2019 project includes one side of Old Settlers and one side of Sunrise, and our 2020 project includes the opposite ends. This QA/CO would tie these sections together and include the intersection to provide a much better product especially when considering performance, durability and pavement life expectancy. The previous contract price was $3,680,000.37 along with this QA/CO of $93,414.10 will make the new contract price $3,773,414.47.
