Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute Amendment No. 1 to the Advance Funding Agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation for the Railroad Crossing Quiet Zones Project.

An AFA (Advanced Funding Agreement) for the partial funding for the Railroad Quiet Zones was executed on March 25th, 2011. In January of this year TxDOT presented us with an amended version of this AFA which the City verified with TxDOT that this was the correct version and we presented it to City Council. A few weeks ago, TxDOT presented the City with yet another AFA saying that this was the "Final" version and the last one that we approved was just a draft. The agreement content and funding have not changed, simply the document format.
No additional funding.
