The Northeast Downtown Improvements project (NEDT) is in the design phase. This project scope is comprised of the following:
Northeast Downtown Improvements and Parking Garage (total cost = $23.253M):
Type B (EIP) Funded ($16.027M - pending approval)
Dry utilities - $1.124M
Contingency - $1.503M
Parking garage - $13.4M
Type B Funded (approved on previous TCIP amendment #42)
Transportation improvements - $2.962M
Non-Type B Funded ($4.264M)
Wastewater improvements - $839k
Waterline improvements - $1.132M
Stormwater improvements - $2.293M
At tonight’s meeting, we request approval to fund the NEDT dry utilities, contingency costs, and parking garage costs totaling $16.027M from the Type B fund EIP. This would result in approximately $18.989M of the NEDT project costs funded by Type B (includes previous amount in TCIP amendment #42).
