This resolution will authorize the Mayor to execute a funding approval agreement with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Block Grant (CDBG-CV) CARES Act funds in the amount of $397,375 that has been awarded to the City of Round Rock to respond to the needs of low income residents that have been impacted by COVID-19. The funds will be used by the Round Rock Area Serving Center to provide assistance with rent/mortgate and utility payments to the low income residents of Round Rock for up to three months. Approval of this agreement is the final step before HUD releases the funding to the City of Round Rock.
