Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an Election Services Contract with Travis County for the May 2, 2020 General and Special Elections postponed to November 3, 2020.

This agreement is the for election services with Travis County, and allows Travis County Elections to conduct the election on our behalf regarding ballots, polling locations, hiring election judges and workers, and all vote tabulations just to name a few. There are certain responsibilities that still remain with the City Clerk. This agreement is for the November 3, 2020 election only and is not a multi-year contract.
The joint election agreement with Travis County participating entities is a separate agreement and will be coming on a future agenda.
Cost: Approx. $2,000 (Travis County portion only)
