The funding for this grant has been authorized under the Coronavirus Response Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of FY2021 (CRRSAA). Similar to the CARES Act, the supplemental funding will be provided at 100-percent federal share, with no local match required. The FTA formula funds have been reallocated from Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority, the Designated Recipient for the Austin Urbanized Area.
This grant will be used to support the operating expenses for the ADA Paratransit and Fixed Route projects. The Transit Coordinator will provide oversight for the program operations and manage the grants and associated federal requirements.
Total Grant Funds Requested is $1,005,247. No local matching funds required.
