Round Rock Police Department officers are assigned Axon TASER Conducted Electricity Weapons (CEWs) as a required piece of equipment that is necessary for performance of their duties. This agreement is for a five year purchase plan that will provide 25 TASER units each year, totaling 125 units.
This purchase will cover the cost of the required equipment, accessories, replacement cartridges and batteries. The initial purchase cost for 25 TASERs and accessories totals $10,275. The total cost at the end of the five year cycle is $51,375.
