Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an Agreement with Preferred Technologies, LLC for the purchase of a security system for the new Round Rock Public Library and parking garage.

Preferred Technologies, LLC is a licensed installer for the City’s Genetec security platform and has competitive pricing through the DIR cooperative. Preferred Technology has recently completed a city-wide conversion of the security access system and security installation at Fire Station 3. This contract includes door access hardware equipment, security camera equipment, installation, and construction coordination.
Staff is presenting a resolution, for Council’s consideration, to authorize the Mayor to execute a Standard Form of Agreement with Preferred Technologies, LLC to provide the provision and installation of security equipment for the new Public Library and Parking Garage.
Cost: $613,957.68
