Consider public testimony regarding the proposed substantial amendment to the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) 2019-2023 Consolidated Plan adding CDBG-CV 3 funding and COVID-19 Assistance as priority needs.

This amendment to the CDBG 2019-2023 Consolidated Plan and CDBG 2019 Action Plan proposes the following:
Addition of CDBG-CV 3 Funds (COVID) in the amount of $668,787 to include the following projects:
Public Services: $474,258 in Subsistence Assistance: Rent/Mortgage & Utilities (Electric, Gas & Water) for up to 6 months per individual or household to help those affected with COVID-19.
Public Services: $194,529 in Senior Services: To provide hotspots (wifi), tablets, accessories and monthly data services for up to two years to seniors so they can access the internet and other online resources while staying home and safe from COVID-19.
All public comment requirements have been met.
