Consider a resolution to ratify the execution of a Joint Election Agreement with Travis County and Participating Entities for the May 1, 2021 General Election.

This agreement allows the City to share in the total election costs for the Travis County portion of its election. Due to time constraints from when we received the final agreement from Travis County and when they had to receive our signature page back in order to take the Travis County Commissioner's Court, it was necessary to obtain the Mayor's signature prior to this City Council meeting. This resolution is ratify the Mayor's signature on the Joint Election Agreement.
The Council previously approved the Election Services Contract with Travis County which lays out the actual costs of the election, this second agreement is simply to share in the costs with the other entities participating in the election.
