This ESC is a request to consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a contract with BGE Inc. that tasks the company to provide engineering services required for the preparation of plans, specifications and estimates (PS&E) and related supporting documents for the construction of the widening of Chisholm Trail Rd. The project will consist of expanding lanes on Chisholm Trail Rd (north) from the rear entrance of the Nissan dealership, north, to the IH 35 service road.
The 30% PS&E shall consist of preliminary engineering services for development of plans, surveying and mapping, assistance with public involvement and MAPO's, environmental clearance, preliminary drainage design, traffic control layout, estimates of probable construction costs.
The contract cost is $204,513.80.
