Consider a resolution authorizing the submittal of a grant application for FY2021 American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) fund for fixed route and ADA paratransit services.

This is a grant application to the Federal Transit Administration for ARP funds in the amount of $1,946,543.
The funding for this grant has been authorized under the American Rescue Plan Act of
FY2021 (ARPA). Similar to the CARES & CRSSA supplemental funding, it will be provided at 100-percent federal share, with no local match required. The FTA formula funds have been reallocated from Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority, the Designated Recipient for the Austin Urbanized Area.
This grant will be used to support the operating expenses for the ADA Paratransit and Fixed Route projects. The Transit Coordinator will provide oversight for the program operations and manage the grants and associated federal requirements.
