Title

Body

The request is made by the property owner, Michael Sanchez. PUD (Planned Unit Development) No. 87 was approved in 2011 and was amended in 2019. It contains four acres designated for LI (Light Industrial) uses, three acres for BP (Business Park) uses and one acre for a private events venue. Located at the north end of Rocking J Rd., the light industrial property is to the west and the business park and events venue is to the east. This PUD amendment involves the approximately 4-acres to the east.

The proposal is to add an indoor axe/hatchet and archery range as a permitted use in an existing building which is located to the east of the special events venue. The remainder of the uses allowed, and the development standards will remain the same. The indoor axe/hatchet and archery range will be regulated by Chapter 6, Article IV of the Code.

The Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing and voted 5-0 to recommend approval of the amendment. There were no speakers at the public hearing.
