Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute Supplemental Contract No. 1 with RPS Infrastructure, Inc. for engineering services for the CR 112 Improvements from A.W. Grimes Boulevard to CR 117 Project.

The City entered into an agreement with RPS Infrastructure, Inc. on October 23, 2020 for professional engineering services to develop the schematic design and the 30% plans for a 6-lane divided arterial section from A.W. Grimes to CR 117. The original contract price was $347,442.39.
Supplemental Agreement No. 1 is for professional engineering services to develop the full 100% PS&E package including roadway design, traffic control plans, drainage design, traffic signal design, coordination with utilities and construction phase services for the project. This supplemental agreement is $663,281.84 bringing the total contract to $1,010,724.23.
