Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a Wholesale Utility Service Agreement with Round Rock Ranch PUD Utility, Inc.

The City would like to enter into this Wholesale Utility Service Agreement between the City of Round Rock and Round Rock Ranch PUD Utility. The PUD is located within the City; however, the PUD states that the utility infrastructure will be private and not be the responsibility of the City for public maintenance. The City was responsible for providing water treatment and distribution to a point of delivery, wastewater treatment, and stormwater conveyance services for the 95 residential properties located within its boundaries. The City has been providing these services to the PUD since its inception in 1994. However, following a recent inspection by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, the PUD is required to have a separate agreement with the City for these services. This new Wholesale Utility Services Agreement outlines the rates for water, wastewater, and stormwater services that the City will provide to the PUD. This agreement will remain in effect for 40 years.
