Consider a resolution authorizing the City Manager to issue a purchase order to The Playwell Group, Inc. for the purchase of a permanent shade structure at Prete Plaza.
Body
The City of Round Arts Department has identified a need for a performing shade structure located at the stage in Prete Plaza. The size of the new structure is approximately twenty feet by forty-seven feet by ten feet. The new shade structure will also include a stage light bar for performance lighting. Additional electrical outlets will be installed after the shade structure is complete by an electrician. This purchase order, based on Buyboard pricing, is for The Playwell Group, Inc. to provide design, material, and installation of the shade structure.
The Playwell Group, Inc. has successfully provided the City of Round Rock structures and amenities for past projects including Lake Creek Park Pavilion, Play for all Park, and Rabb Park. The Playwell Group, Inc. has proven to be a responsible vendor and Buyboard prices are competitively bid for best value. This resolution, for consideration, is to authorize the City Manager to issue a purchase order to The Playwell Group, Inc. for the purchase of a permanent shade structure at Prete Plaza.
