Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an Interlocal Agreement with Williamson County for the establishment of EMS ambulance and personnel housing at Round Rock fire stations.

This item is an Interlocal agreement between Williamson County, and the City of Round Rock, for establishing housing of Williamson County Emergency Medical Services (“EMS) and Personnel in a fire station that is owned and operated by the City of Round Rock. This agreement also identifies who is responsible to pay for repairs that may be needed while EMS is stationed in a City of Round Rock Fire Station.
Allowing Williamson County EMS crews to house at the Round Rock Stations, gives the EMS unit the ability to more effectively and rapidly respond to locations that are in close proximity to the Fire Stations and allows for a higher probability of a good outcome.
