The proposed contract amendment extends the not-to-exceed amount of a contract with GT Distributors, Inc., approved by City Council in July 2020. The original contract secured pricing for various police, fire, and rescue equipment and uniforms carried and worn by public safety responders. The contract supplemental adds $93,000 for a new not-to-exceed amount of $1,023,000. The increased spending authorization would address supply chain and increased market demand issues related to the availability of ammunition.
