Body

The City of Round Rock City Council previously approved the Griffith Remodel and Paseo as a Construction Manager at Risk alternative delivery method. This resolution is for Council’s consideration for Braun and Butler Construction, Inc. as best value Construction Manager for the Griffith Remodel and Paseo Project.

 

The City had six respondents to the solicitation for Construction Manager at Risk. Braun and Butler Construction, Inc. submitted the lowest price for preconstruction services and general conditions. The CMAR scoring committee comprised of members for General Services, Sports and Tourism, and Communications departments scored Braun and Butler favorable for qualifications, making them the number one ranked proposer.

              

Braun and Butler Construction, Inc. prides themselves on being a smaller construction company with over 40 years of experience. They have successfully completed Construction Manager at Risk projects such as Hill Country Bible Church Leander, Bluebonnet Trails Community Center La Grange, and Pflugerville Fire Station No. 5. They have worked with clients including Round Rock ISD, Manor ISD, Dell Valle ISD, Eagle Bank, and Georgetown ISD and have a good reputation in the construction industry.
