This agreement with Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. outlines updated cost for our department to purchase water line and wastewater line repair parts such as pipe and pipe fittings (Ductile, C900, PVC, etc.). This agreement also includes purchase costs for fire hydrant repair parts, brass service line repair parts, tapping saddles, Hymax couplings, and repair clamps. By having this contract with Ferguson Enterprises, it allows the department to have expedited acquisition of parts that are required to keep the water and wastewater system operating throughout the City. The Utilities & Environmental Services Department has had a contract with Ferguson Enterprises since 2013.
This agreement increases the contract by $300,000 which will expire on December 31, 2023.
