Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an Agreement with Striking Precision Welding & Fabrication for the purchase of waterworks, plumbing materials.

This agreement with Striking Precision Welding & Fabrication will allow our the Utilities & Environmental Services Department to purchase the necessary spool pieces for our water meter group. Our department currently has a contract with BenMark Supply Company and use them at the current moment for spool piece purchases. Striking Precision & Fabrication will provide the City a secondary source in case we have issues with BenMark Supply Company being able to meet our spool piece order in a timely manner.
This agreement is for a not-to-exceed amount of $300,000 per year for a total not-to-exceed amount of $1,500,000. This agreement expires in five years.
