Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute Supplemental Contract No. 2 with Freese and Nichols, Inc. for the Chisholm Trail South Improvements (Old Town) Project.

This project consists of the reconstruction of Chisholm Trail Rd. The project will include full rehabilitation including new urban roadway section, drainage improvements, pedestrian improvements and landscaping on Chisholm Trail Rd (south) from the bridge at Brushy Creek, north, to Sam Bass Rd.
Supplemental #1 was executed to make revisions to exhibit A, B & C. There was no change to the Exhibit D - Fee Schedule for the project.
Supplemental #2 will take the 30% Schematic plans prepared under the original contract and continue on with the completion of the design to 100% and also the preparation of Bidding Documents and performance of Construction Phase Services.
Supplemental #2 adds $584,885.00 to the contract. When added to the original contract price of $389,055.00, the new total contract price is $973,940.00.
